Over the Hills, Lucy's new CD is her most personal recording to date, with a stunning range of material, from stories about family, those that have gone before and follow after, of lives lived and roads traveled, to a compelling collection of classic songs by other writers, performed with Lucy's distinctive interpretive sensibility. Over the Hills is Lucy's story and her reflection upon her times.

"Over the Hills" was the #1 most played album on 153 folk radio stations in March 2007, and "Manhattan Moon", the first song on the album, was the #1 most played song!

With her intoxicating brand of folk pop music, smart and enduring lyrics and engaging personality, Curtis has created a dedicated following that has grown steadily over the course of her 15-year career. With 9 albums and recognition that includes a 2006 International Songwriting Competition Grand Prize, Curtis has proven that she's the real deal: a musician with the kind of raw talent and artistic maturity that makes her a force to be reckoned with, albeit a sweet force.

Lou and Peter Berryman are musical humorists who have delighted nationwide audiences for more than twenty years. Frequent comparisons to Tom Lehrer, Flanders and Swann, and Burns and Allen notwithstanding, these two are originals, blending Midwestern culture with intelligent observation in a whimsical and wonderfully accessible performance. They have produced twelve albums and three song books of their original and hilarious, quirky, yet oddly profound songs, and have toured the US and Canada to rave reviews. Berryman songs are being sung around the world, by a legion of professional musicians, including Peter, Paul & Mary, Peggy Seeger and Garrison Keillor, as well as shower singers everywhere.

The Unitarian Church - North is located on the east side of Port Washington Road, south of Pioneer Road (Highway C) in Mequon.

"Songwriters may move us to heights of emotion, give us rhythm while we work, or provoke us to action or inaction. They may tickle us with unrelenting humor, make us ponder our existence or simply carry us through a moment in time. To promote and support these songwriters is the intent of the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series."

Joe DeLucia
Founder - Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series

Shure

" A special thanks to SHURE INC. for their donation of new microphones for the Series...they understand that with lyric-oriented music such as we present, clarity in sound is number one, just as they are with the music industry......."

               -- Joe D.

The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series is very grateful to the Stagecoach Inn for providing lodging for our artists, to the Greater Community Foundation of Cedarburg and Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc. for their generous contributions. Thanks also to the many businesses & individuals who have supported the Series.
