Cosy Sheridan is one of the pre-eminent songwriters on the folk scene documenting the lives of modern women. She places the fast-paced culture of 21st century America into a mythic context with insightful, energetic and at times comic effect. Her wryly insightful songs have been showcased everywhere from Carnegie Hall to The Dr Demento Show. She has been called "one of the era's finest and most thoughtful singer-songwriters".

Hello Friends & Supporters of Acoustic Music,
The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series was created in 1992, born from a passion for acoustic music and intelligent and entertaining songwriting. The Series is a volunteer organization with all revenue going towards artist fees and operating expenses. Our host venue, the intimate Cedarburg Cultural Center does not permit smoking. Concessions are available such as beer, wine, soda, coffee and home made sweets. All seats are general admission. Tables for (8) are available by reservation only. Group rates are also available. Please contact WSSS directly for more information on these items.
The Cedarburg Cultural Center is located on the east side of Washington Avenue in downtown Cedarburg, one block south of the Rivoli Theater.
The Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series is very grateful to the Greater Community Foundation of Cedarburg and Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc. for their generous contributions in support of the Series.
"Songwriters may move us to heights of emotion, give us rhythm while we work, or provoke us to action or inaction. They may tickle us with unrelenting humor, make us ponder our existence or simply carry us through a moment in time. To promote and support these songwriters is the intent of the Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series."
Joe DeLucia
Founder - Wisconsin Singer/Songwriter Series
